Martin Luther College had Commencement and Call Services on Sat. May 13. At the Call Service our member, Hannah Mayer, received her Call to California Lutheran High School in Wildomar, CA where she will teach Spanish and Drama, and will also be a Dormitory Supervisor. St. Paul’s was also blessed to have two teachers assigned to our grade school!

Miss Holly Meyer received her Call to serve as St. Paul’s 4K Teacher. Miss Meyer, from Burton, MI, writes:

Dear Members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church,

On May 13, 2023, I received the Divine Call extended to me through the Assignment Committee to serve your con- gregation. With this letter, I wish to announce my formal acceptance of this Call and express my joy that this privilege has been granted to me.

Moving arrangements and an installation date are being determined. I pray that the Lord will bring me to you safely and that He will bless my ministry among you.

And Miss Amber Barcalow, from Kenosha, WI, received her Call to serve as St. Paul’s 1st Gr. Teacher. She writes:

On Saturday, May 13th 2023, I received the Divine Call extended to me through the Assignment Committee to serve your congregation. With this letter I wish to announce my formal acceptance of this Call and express my joy that this privilege has been granted to me.

The amount of excitement and gratitude I felt once I received the news is unreal! Thank you for the very kind welcome and willingness to help in any way that I need. Thank you to our Lord for taking care of me, my family, and this congregation. His plan is always good!
