Community Thanksgiving Dinner

Our annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner is scheduled for Wednesday, November 27 beginning at 5 pm and running until 6:15 pm. The dinner will again be catered by Glenn’s Market in Watertown. We are very thankful for the wonderful deal Glenn’s has given us on the turkey and all the fixings. We need volunteers to help set up the Fellowship Hall, serve the food, bus the tables and help with clean-up. This is a great opportunity for any students to gain service hours for school.

The emphasis of this free meal is to offer a warm and inviting environment for people in our community who don’t have a family or who are struggling with money so that they and their families can enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal with OUR Family! St. Paul’s members are encouraged to come to the dinner and join people you don’t know at their table. This is your opportunity to let the Light of Jesus Christ shine brightly through you as you break bread with strangers and make them feel like they are at home. Time to get out of your comfort zones and reach out to these souls who may not have anyone in their lives or who desperately need to know about a God who loves them and a Savior who died for them.

In previous years, these dinners have brought in new members to our family, and we need to continue showing our love and compassion to those who may be feeling alone or are facing a bleak holiday season.

Your time and love can help save a soul!
