2017-2018 Meeting Schedule
|September 11th||Registration & Ice Cream Sundaes for those who didn’t register during School Registration in August. No meeting.|
|September 18th||FUN NIGHT — Canoeing and cook out at Haumerson’s Pond. Hot dogs, chips and drinks to be served 6:00-7:30 p.m. Please drop off and pick up at Haumerson’s Pond Area. Please bring own life jacket if possible.
|October 2nd||Boys and Girls Fall Outing at Ralph Park, 5:00-6:30 p.m. Drop off and pick up at the Ralph Park.|
|October 13th-15th||Camp Out at Hupke’s Woods. Meet at school Friday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. and returning to school on Sunday around noon.|
|October 16th||General meeting. Cut out derby cars at school. Bring cars in with design on car to be cut out.|
|November 6th||FUN NIGHT. Swimming @ Whitewater Aquatic Center/High School. Leave school at 5:30 pm. or meet at the Aquatic Center @ 5:45. Swimming from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. Return to school by 7:30 pm if not picked up at the pool. Cost is $3.00 per person to swim.|
|November 27th||General meeting.|
|December 4th||General meeting. Backing cakes for Advent Supper at Bethany.|
|December 6th||Wednesday. Serve Advent Supper @ Bethany. Please bring a generous dish to pass to Bethany’s Church Kitchen by 4:00 pm. We will have dessert done already!|
|December 18th.||Christmas Caroling and party. Please bring a wrapped gift of $5.00 or less for exchange. Meet at school.|
|January 4th||Sledding, place to be determined (usually at school). Please bring your own sled and dress accordingly.|
|January 5th – 7th||District Campout @ Pineridge Campground, Waldo, WI. Ask for information if interested.|
|January 8th||Sledding, place to be determined (usually at school). Please bring your own sleds and dress accordingly.|
|January 19th-21st||Camp Out at Hoard-Curtis in Cambridge. Leave from school Friday at 6:00 p.m. SHARP. Will return Sunday at 10:00 a.m.|
|January 22nd||Skating/Boot Skating at Haumerson’s Pond. Drop off at Haumerson’s Pond, pick-up at school.|
|January 27th or February 3rd?||District Bowling at Watertown Bowl 18, 102 West Cady St., Watertown, WI 53094. Ask for info if interested. Date not set for sure.|
|February 3rd||(Saturday) Pine Car Derby Track Set-Up and test runs. 3:00-5:00 p.m. Scale and weights available.
|February 4th||(Sunday) Pine Car Derby. Adults weigh in at 11:30 a.m. and race at 12:00 noon. Boys register at 12:30 p.m. and race at 1:00 p.m. Girls register at 2:00 p.m. and race at 2:30 p.m. (Times are approximate, depending upon number of entries starting with adults. May be earlier or later). Food and refreshments will be served at all races for a fundraiser for the Boy and Girl Pioneers.|
|February 12th||Make cake and pizza in kitchen at school.
|February 14th||(Wednesday) Boys serve Lenten Supper @ St. Paul’s. Please bring a generous dish to pass to St. Paul’s church kitchen by 4:00 p.m. We will have deserts done already.|
|February 19th||General meeting.|
|March 5th||Cleaning bird houses @ Golden Living Center. Meet @ school.|
|March 10th||District Pine Car Derby in Watertown. Entrance fee is $5.00 per car.|
|March 26th||General meeting.|
|April 8th||(Sunday) Coffee Hour at St. Paul’s and Bethany. Boys help out at respective church. Bethany 8:45-10:30 a.m. St. Paul’s 8:45-10:30 a.m. All items will be provided.|
|April 9th||Roller skating at Skate Express in Watertown for both Boys and Girls. Bus will leave school at 3:15 and return at 7:00-7:30 p.m. Bus fee is approx. $4.00/person (Chaperones ride free). Skates and entrance fee is approx. $4.00/person.|
|April 21st||National Pine Car Derby in Appleton, WI, for qualifiers from District Derby. Hosted by Riverview.|
|April 23rd||General Meeting.|
|May 7th||Family Fun Night — Bicycling to cookout at Schwab’s house. Parent/son cook out at the Schwab’s house. If biking, drop off with bikes at Cold Spring at St. John’s Church at 5:30 p.m. If not biking, please drop off and the Schwab house at 5:30 p.m. Pick-up at 7:30 – 8:00 p.m. from house.|
|May 18th-20th||District Camp Out at Watertown Conservation Club. Saturday, May 19th Family Fun Day. Ask for information if interested. Date not set for certain.|
As always, parents are welcome and encouraged to attend any and all meetings. Your help with Pioneers will make the program stronger and better. If you are signed up to bring a snack, please bring a drink and a snack.
