Special Lent services are currently taking place on Wednesdays. Services are at 3:30pm and 6:30pm, and a supper is served between services from 4:30pm to 6pm. Please come worship with us as we turn our focus to the incredible sacrifice Christ made for us. “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Him as a sacrifice of atonement through faith in His blood.” Romans 3: 23-25
For our Lenten services this year, we will be meditating on texts from the book of Hebrews which help us to
better understand our Savior’s role as the great High Priest. It will also be our privilege to hear some of our
area pastors as they participate in a preaching “round robin.” The schedule is below. Our staff minister, John
Kanter, will be leading us in worship on March 21 while Pastor Vik enjoys a skiing vacation.
2/21 Second Wednesday of Lent Pastor Jeffrey Schallert (St. James, Cambridge)
2/28 Third Wednesday of Lent Pastor David Ernest (St. Paul’s Fort Atkinson)
3/17 Fourth Wednesday of Lent Pastor Mark Swanson (St. Peter’s, Helenville)
3/14 Fifth Wednesday of Lent Pastor Jon Rossman (St. John’s, Whitewater)
3/21 Sixth Wednesday of Lent Staff Minister John Kanter (St. Paul’s, Fort Atkinson)

The Great Card Game—Chili Cook-Off Extravaganza!
A family fellowship event has been planned for February 24th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall here at church. The evening will begin with a card game competition for all ages. Following that will be a chili cook-off. So, here’s your chance to put your “world-renowned” chili recipe against some competition. Do you have a secret ingredient that puts your chili above the rest? Do you think your chili has what it takes to defeat the competition? Sign-ups will be available next week. We are limiting the number of entries for the Chili Cook-Off to just fifteen, so sign-up early! Although chili is the stuff of life, we will need some other dishes (salads and desserts) to add color to our plates. Sign-ups will be available next week for that as well. Mark your calendars and save the date for a fun evening of games and food!
