Reformation 500 Celebration

Christians around the world this year are celebrating the 500th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation. Events in our midst will include special services, Bible studies, and fellowship get-togethers. Many of our area congregations will be meeting together at the Dane County Coliseum for a Festival Worship Celebration on Sunday, October 29th at 4:00 p.m.

Transportation: Four coach buses have been reserved for transportation to the Festival Worship Celebration on Sunday, October 29th at 4:00 p.m. from our church. They will leave at 1pm and 2pm. If you wish to leave after the Reformation service, we will depart at 5:45pm. If you wish to stay for the Koiné Sing Along, we will depart at 7:45pm. There will be vendor booths for food and other purchases available. The price for transportation is $17.50 per seat. Sign up sheets are on the table in the Narthex, or you can call the church office at 920-563-2263.
The sign-up deadline for a guaranteed seat on the bus is October 8th. (After this date, we will take reservations for people other than St. Paul’s members.) The final sign-up deadline is October 15th.

Join A Reformation Choir: There are three different choirs that will enhance the Reformation 500 experience: a Children’s Choir, a High School Choir, and an Adult Choir. Members of our St. Paul’s Choir will be joining the Reformation Adult Choir, and we are learning the Reformation songs in our choir rehearsals. We can always use more voices to praise our LORD! Our choir rehearses on Tuesday evening at 7pm.
